Denver Recycles offers unique collection events to help residents with recycling unwanted electronics.

LOCATION: Metech Recycling, 500 W. 53rd Pl., Denver (From I-25, Exit 58th Ave.)

APPOINTMENT: Participation is through session just. Pick your session time slot machines online at https://oct10-ecycle.eventbrite.com, then show up on October 10th at your scheduled session time along with your electronic items.

FEE: $5 per car includes first two “screens” (televisions, monitors and/or laptop computers). Extra displays will surely cost yet another charge of $5 per screen. Fee obtained at event. An ordinary fee per display can range from $20 to $50.

ITEMS APPROVED: Televisions, screens, CPUs, laptop computers, printers, scanners, faxes, keyboards, mice, stereos, outside hard disk drives & storage space devices, cell phones, telephones, DVRs, VCRs, digital cameras, movie recorders, MP3 people, gaming systems, cables, cables plus some tiny appliances eg microwaves.

Products maybe not Accepted: ac units, large appliances, floor cleaners, vehicle batteries or home battery packs (rechargeable electric batteries ok).

RECORDS:

  • This occasion is ready to accept Denver residents only. No commercial or business recycling.

As a BAN e-Stewards(r) Certified Electronics Recycler, Metech Recycling means that all client possessions containing data are either sanitized prior to resale or tend to be physically destroyed in the form of pulverization or incineration. Hard disk drives pending potential resale are sanitized, confirmed and validated to NIST 800-88 & DOD 5220.22-M information erasure requirements. Data containing devices that fail the sanitation procedure are physically destroyed.
