Minnesota legislation prohibits appliances from being placed with household trash simply because they have components that are bad for person health and the environment. Major appliances no longer in usable condition must certanly be recycled. The word "major appliance" includes the following items:

  • Furnaces

Choice 1: Some stores will need and reuse old devices whenever you purchase a new one. Use these programs whenever offered.

Alternative 2: Bring your appliances to one of after device recyclers. Fees apply, call company for prices and hours.
